Portuguese acoustic solutions manufacturer Vicoustic has just released Vixagon, a new acoustic panel primarily developed for use in restaurants, offices, meetings rooms and other architectural spaces where both acoustic efficiency and visual elegance are important considerations.

The strikingly shaped hexagonal panel is made from optimum density acoustic foam with a super resistant micro suede fabric or anti-fire paper finish. Two versions are available: Vixagon Premium, which has a choice of eight fabric colours to match room interiors and Vixagon G, available in black and white finishes.

Vixagon is designed to perform mainly on medium and high frequencies and can be fixed to both walls and ceilings. The panel’s low weight, low temperature flexibility, good sound absorption capacity and thermal insulation properties, combined with M1 (European) and Euro Class B fire ratings, make it highly suitable for use in a variety of public spaces.

Vixagon panels are self-adhesive and easy to fix, with installation taking less than one minute per square metre. Two boxes of panels will cover an area of approximately ten square metres, making Vixagon a cost-effective solution for a range of architectural and design projects.
