Veidekke Logistikkbygg general manager Roar Kristiansen said: “We have completed a lengthy and good interaction phase to develop what will be our eleventh construction project in partnership with Anthon Eiendom. This will be an efficient non-residential building with clear environmental ambitions, and we once again appreciate the confidence shown in us.”

The company’s parent, Veidekke, is a Scandinavian contractor with an annual turnover of approximately Nkr43bn and an employee-ownership model where almost half of its 8,000 staff hold shares in the company.

Earlier in November 2024, Veidekke was awarded a contract by Fornebubanen to construct new metro stations at Lysaker and Vækerø in Norway. This contract is worth around Nkr1.8bn excluding VAT and is set to start in February 2025, with completion expected by mid-2028.
