Dutco Construction has been appointed by ASB Hospitality as the main contractor for the construction of the Gran Meliá Hotel – Dubai Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Located at Port De La Mer in Jumeirah, the development will occupy a 31,066m² plot with a gross floor area of 42,522m² and a built-up area of 88,909m².
MOMA is serving as the lead consultant and project architect, with Lagranja Studio designing the interiors, according to a press release on .
Meanwhile, Carter Hones Associates will provide project and cost consultancy services throughout the construction phase.
With enabling and piling works already completed, the resort has seen the commencement of structural concrete work and is advancing towards its projected opening date in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026.

The five-star resort is said to become the first beachfront property under the Gran Meliá brand in the country.
It will have 380 keys, inclusive of 31 suites with private pools, and is expected to accommodate up to 1,000 guests.
The Gran Meliá Hotel will also house the Zuma Beach House.
It will include a range of amenities, including wellness and fitness centres, direct marina access, and a private beach.
Two swimming pools will be featured at the resort, including what is said to be one of the UAE’s longest infinity pools, and a garden oasis pool.
Last week, Meraas awarded Dutco Construction a contract for the construction of the Bvlgari Lighthouse on Jumeira Bay Island in the country.
